Patient Transportation
Our associates responsible for Internal Patient Transports:
- Transport patients on gurneys or in wheelchairs from one area of the hospital to another, per instructions from the hospital’s medical staff.
- Eliminate scheduling backups and improve patient throughput, freeing up the hospital’s medical personnel to enhance the quality of healthcare.
- Receive training in sanitation, CPR, back safety and lift techniques before their first day on the job.
- Must already be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) when they are hired.
- Are fully compliant with HIPAA and JCAHO standards.
- Receive Hep B vaccinations and TB tests before beginning work.
