Hiring The Right People

Creating the most effective team to serve our hospital clients begins with hiring the right people. Ambassadors Plus only employs the most qualified candidates after a series of interviews and relevant screenings, such as drug tests, background checks, fitness tests, motor vehicle reports and reviews of prior work history.

Plus, our patient transporters must already be certified medical professionals such as Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) when we hire them – which differs from other companies that hire high school graduates with no medical training. We understand that emergency medical situations can easily arise when transporting patients, so Ambassadors Plus associates are well-trained and fully equipped to deal with these possible scenarios.

Decisions are made on-site at your hospital, not by a remote corporate office, and we are extremely responsive to client requests and needs. Our staff at Ambassadors Plus is truly a team and, as such, each and every associate plays an instrumental role in our success. Employees are expected to be team players in every sense of the term, working closely with other Ambassadors Plus associates as well as staff at client hospitals to deliver unequaled, seamless service. Although there are individual job descriptions, our associates have no divisions of labor when a client makes a request or needs assistance – claiming “that’s not my job” is not an option.

By developing a team environment, we also cultivate a true sense of ownership in the company, which enhances the overall level of service provided to clients.
