Ambassadors Plus is driven by vision – to see a need in the market and then to determine the resources to fill that need. More than a decade ago, company founder Josh Wallace was with Ameripark, a national valet parking company in Birmingham, Alabama. He had started as a valet attendant but was quickly promoted to management, and by the time he left four years later, he had grown the company’s parking business by 416%. Eager to combine his business savvy with his passion for customer-focused service, he launched his own company – then called Valet Solutions – in a new market where his unique brand of user-friendly service was greatly needed.

Six years ago, the company was awarded the contract to provide valet parking for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), and significantly outpaced the competitor who had previously parked UAMS patient cars for 10 years. We grew valet numbers 47% our first year, and were recently re-awarded the contract through a competitive bid process attracting several national firms.

Other early wins included St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center and the Little Rock National Airport, a client which recently extended our contract to 2013 based on our outstanding level of customer service. For years, we have continued to win and retain clients, producing long-term partnerships that are solid and successful. Our company’s hospitality-based services also continue to be in demand for special events at public venues and private residences.

As the company grew, it expanded to offer a wider variety of services beyond valet parking and to focus on healthcare hospitality. It was at this point that the name of the company was changed to Ambassadors Plus and Michelle Wallace – who had worked alongside Josh Wallace since the beginning – became the owner, overseeing a renewed vision to provide companies seamless, customized hospitality services including valet parking, wheelchair escort, internal patient transportation, porter, information center, luggage and coat check, and concierge services.

The Ambassadors Plus management team's combined experience equals nearly 70 years of shaping and delivering excellence in customer service. This experience, coupled with our ability to continually produce innovative, state-of-the-art solutions for our clients, has played an instrumental role in our success.
