The Ambassadors Plus
training philosophy begins with hiring the right personnel. Once the most
qualified candidates officially join our team, they must complete comprehensive
training courses to prepare them for the positions for which they were hired.
Ambassadors Plus

people, ensuring they are medically certified where necessary, and extensive
training for our associates truly set us apart.
Our staff fulfills some
or all of the following training requirements prior to beginning work at
Ambassadors Plus, depending on the position:
- In-depth,
hands-on patient transport and lift training taught by a physical therapist,
including both a written and practical exam.
- Hand
washing, sanitation, infection control and bloodborne pathogens practices
(training materials stay current with the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention guidelines).
- CPR
training.
- Back
safety techniques.
- Full
understanding of and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Joint Commission Accreditation of Healthcare
Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
- TB
tests and Hep B vaccinations.
- On-the-job
training with a supervisor.
- Customer
service training program.
- New associate orientation.
